The department has a five-year BA-plus-MA program to provide a channel for outstanding students to continue their studies in the department’s master’s program.

FEATURES OF TEACHING

The department has long upheld a liberal, open, diversified and practical mindset when it comes to education, and adhered to the concept of “balancing creativity and theory, and integrating modernity and application”. To facilitate our teaching philosophy and help students meet employment requirements, the department adopted a professional teaching approach with three pathways for design, Western painting, and Chinese painting and calligraphy. Through creation, exhibition, observation and discussion, our program effectively realizes the integration of theory and practice, tradition and modernity, and Chinese and Western art education.
